Upcoming Collection Events

We will be hosting multiple woody debris collection events in June. Whether you have wood lying around from the ice storms two years ago, or you removed vegetation to create defensible space, here is an opportunity to get that wood off your property and reduce the fire hazard, for free.

Saturday & Sunday, June 6 & 7 (10am - 2pm)

When:

Where:

Clackamas Fire Station #10
22310 S Beavercreek Rd
Beavercreek, OR 97004

Dover Fire Station
24545 SE Firwood Rd
Sandy, OR 97055

What is accepted?

Brush, sticks, and branches smaller than firewood size. We will not be accepting needles, loose or bagged leaves, or bark dust at these events. They do not consume in the incinerator.

What is not accepted?

Loads with rocks, dirt, or metal will be refused.

This is for disposal of wildland fuel mitigation only. The following will not be accepted:

  • Rough cut, treated, and dimensional lumber

  • Posts and fence materials

  • No stumps, root balls, or any root parts.

  • Construction waste

  • Trash

  • Rock, dirt, or fireplace ash

  • Plastic, including plastic bags.

Hauling Guidelines

Clean out your pickup or trailer before loading material. This helps keep trash and debris from mingling with material.

  • All material must be securely tied down.

  • Keep all types of material separate within the load. Each type of material is unloaded in a different location.

  • Do not use heavy machinery to load material as this will often add rocks and dirt. Any load with rocks or dirt will be refused.

  • We do not accept material transported by chip vans, semi side dump, walking floor, or live floor trailers.
